What’s In Your Bank?

115 Banks have failed so far this year according to the government. The graph shown below is a perfect example of exponential growth and this trend will continue to accelerate. This graph does not include the bankruptcy of CIT over the weekend that is being downplayed by the media and government even though it is one of the largest bankruptcies in history.

How does this affect you? If you owned stock in CIT, it is gone along with the $2.3 Billion in taxpayer TARP funding. The US dollar has been devalued 16% so far this year while gold has risen over 30%. The federal deposit insurance corporation is broke which means that the taxpayer will now be bailing out all future bank failures.

Retail stores are directly impacted by this collapse and outlined in a story by New Jersey Business News.  With limited bank loans available due to the commercial real estate debt and the coming collapse of the dollar, the retail sector will not be able to buy inventory.

Prudent steps:

1. Buy gold

2. Buy silver

3. Empty your bank safety deposit boxes.

4. Buy a gun safe for guns and valuables.

5. Learn how to barter.

One Response to “What’s In Your Bank?”

  1. Doug says:

1./2. How do I buy gold and silver when I have no job, since March? Is it worth leaving a paper trail by mail order? How many local coin dealers rip us off with too much a buy/sell spread, for anonymous cash transactions? Isn't precious metals a hyper-inflation protection technique for the rich? How do I make it more relevant to my situation?

    3. Well I knew already safety deposit boxes aren't safe, especially from a nosy greedy bankrupt government. What if your bank branch closes? What happens to the box? Heard a bad news story regarding that on talk radio.

    4. Again, costly for a person with no job, and how many people would I need to carry and install it? Spend more money for professional installation? Isn't an obvious safe, an obvious target for thieves? Might big jars and a shovel, be a better and cheaper approach?

    5. How do we practice barter in advance of further troubles? Know any stores that want some chickens or some old junk, for payment? BTW, surely ammo is more compact and easier to carry barter material, than toilet paper?

All good suggestions, just asking how to make them more relevant to my situation? Where are all the friends who can "hold my hand," take me shopping, show me how? And still, 5 steps may not be near enough preparation for all the mess the out-of-control criminal Congress and more local state and community politicians are creating.

At what point should I just bail out and leave the country, before circling the drain becomes falling down the drainpipe? Which country would eagerly welcome me to become a citizen and respect my God-given liberties? Why is it so hard to find much any material on expatrioting such a "has been" country, third-world basketcase we are too fast becoming?

Anybody leaving any comments on my website forum, should make them of an anonymous nature, not mentioning my name or too much my specific situation. Either place I am pronatalist, also on gmail.
