The Beginning of the Juggernaut Campaign
Bert Burnette from Oriental, NorthCarolina has come up with an ingenious plan guaranteed to get the attention of our politicians. The plan is simple and has a minimal cost associated with it: mail an empty milk jug to a politician with your message written on the outside. For our first North Carolina campaign, we want as many milk jugs sent to Sen. Kay Hagan at her Raleigh address. We have made it simple: download the PDF and follow the instructions.
As shown on the PDF, please remove the cap from the milk jug and rinse thoroughly. Start sending your jugs as quickly as possible since our government has imposed a deadline of March 18th on the citizens they have sworn to represent. The cost to mail each jug is $1.56.
North Carolina is hoping that other states adopt this strategy as soon as possible.
Whatever it takes to wake up our useless politicians, Democrat or Republican progressives/liberal/RINO. Great idea!
This will only cost a paltry $1.56 for postage and a little of your time. It should have a substantial impact on Congress. I just don't understand why they want us to mail the Milk Jugs to Senator Hagan's Raleigh
office instead of her DC office! Maybe the security aspects?
Part of this campaign is to get media coverage in North Carolina. We would have to rely on a national press outlet for any coverage in Washington. Also, our Congressmen's mail in Washington is subjected to more rigorous examinations than in Raleigh (unless I am mistaken). It would be easy for this extra security level to throw away the jugs based on an arbitrary decision.
Maybe becuase he is easier to reach there and probably spends more time there.
