I'm a young adult who like many experienced an awakening that began for me about October 2008 when TARP 1 passed. Prior to then, I was pretty clueless as to our history and what was happening now in our country. The Tea Party movement took me from clueless to a political activist. It also helped that I do not sit in a church where Romans 13 is interpreted to mean we are to bow down and serve our government no matter what they do. I choose not to sit idly by and this is why I'm involved with NC Freedom. I believe communication is key and NC Freedom is a good place for that communication to take place between groups & individuals in our state. I have given up on the Federal government, taking back the states & seeing to it they fight back has to come first.
