The current administration is no different from the past 20+ administrations. The “leftist” agenda is nothing more than the fruition of French Enlightenment (FE) that started in the mid 1600′s.

Enlightenment was a desire for human affairs to be guided by rationality rather than by faith, superstition, or revelation; a belief in the power of human reason to change society and liberate the individual from the restraints of custom or arbitrary authority; all backed up by a world view increasingly validated by science rather than by religion or tradition. 

FE’s goals are to ;

1) Remove God and all moral restraints from society. This they called Liberty  (This is liberty from the restraints of God to do as you choose to do)  Our forefathers believed in “liberty” under and restrained by God rather than the French concept of liberty regardless and outside of God; 

“We have staked the whole of all our political institutions upon the capacity of mankind for self-government, upon the capacity of each and all of us to govern ourselves, to control ourselves, to sustain ourselves according to the Ten Commandments of God.”                          James Madison 

(2) Unite everyone under this concept this is called fraternity. In modern times this is what we call the “leftist” agenda. These are the people who push and promote these concepts and organize to implement these concepts. Modern examples of this “Fraternity” or brotherhood are organized unions, the Democratic Party and community organizations that promote individualistic and humanistic agendas, and; (3) Equality. All people are equally free outside of God’s restraints to do as they choose. In Modern times this is evidenced by a few examples as follows;

 a) Politically the Christian is equal to the atheist, the Muslim, the pagan and/or the Satanist. This was not a founding principal of America.

b) Morally homosexuality and bisexuality is equal to heterosexuality. This was not a founding principal of America.

c) Aliens are equal to citizens. This involves a world without borders. All people everywhere are equal and should have the same benefits that a world society can provide. This is called globalization. In America this began with unconstitutional post Civil War legislation that annulled “state Citizenship” along with “states rights.” This unconstitutional legislation officially “nationalized” citizenship destroyed the “Union” of several States and created a Nation of one people. This was the first step in getting the “authority” to self govern out of the hands of the people on a local/State level and centralized in the United States Congress.  

In modern times we see it being further implemented by open borders, job redistribution (NAFTA and GATT are a few), the World Court and monetary redistribution (World Bank). All of this to say that we must know what the problem is in order to properly implement a solution. Otherwise we are just doing busy work pinpointing a few of the problems and not addressing the root of the problem. 

In order to effectively fight your enemy you must first know your enemy. We must stop fighting sound bites fed to us by the media that allows the leftist agenda to move forward and start “hacking at the root.” 

We must first attain the knowledge of how we lost our government in order to regain our government. James Madison stated; ”Knowledge will forever govern ignorance, and a people who mean to be their own governors must arm themselves with the power which knowledge gives.” 

I understand that the legal arguments that I teach and promote, and that the people that believe these arguments are valid, are being declared as radical and ill conceived. I wish to put these arguments and concepts on the public table for discussion so that people can make an informed decision on these legal arguments that attack the root of America’s problems.

3. Mark October 15^th on your calendar. The Triangle Region of NCFreedom is hosting another town hall in Raleigh at 7:00 PM. This Cap and Trade Town Hall at the Lighthouse Convention Center will have experts in the electrical utility field as well as an expert in trade giving short presentations on the effects of this legislation if it passes the Senate. Bring your pens and paper if you want the real story on this new consumer tax. The second hour of the program will allow the audience to ask questions from our panel of experts. If you plan to ask a question, please write it down prior to the town hall. Any organizations who want to co-sponsor this event can contact us by October 10^th before we print the programs.

North Carolina has been divided into regions in order to coordinate our efforts more effectively. Each region will have a steering committee composed of leaders from different groups. The steering committees will coordinate with the other regional steering committees to allow better organization and communication. Each region’s steering committee will also be completely responsible for their regional website. We need leaders in the Southern Coastal (Wilmington and Morehead City) region and the Northern Piedmont (Henderson and Oxford) region to contact us to complete this new structure.

One of our first statewide efforts will be focused on the repeal of the new 1% sales tax. If our state has the money to fund the education of illegal aliens in our community colleges, they need to start cutting our oppressive state taxes and let us feed our families. Despite our own government’s portrayal of patriotic citizens as terrorists, WE THE PEOPLE showed our frustration on September 12, 2009 without any violence or vitriol. I can only relate a small portion of my pride for my country’s true spirit while attending this march to regain our freedom.

The lowest point of the day came while we sang the Star Spangled Banner on the west lawn of the Capitol. I stood shoulder to shoulder with our brothers and sisters while watching the Capitol City Police on the Capitol’s balcony neither singing nor holding their hands over their hearts. At least the patriots understand what is at stake:

The highest point of the day came when a woman approached me at Freedom Plaza and asked me to lead the people in the Pledge of Allegiance using my bullhorn. I respectively declined her request, handed her the bullhorn and watched her lead several hundred people in our pledge to keep this country indivisible, with liberty under God.

If you want to caravan with others into DC on Thursday, meet up with other N. Carolinians at the rest stop on I-95, just north of the Virginia border around 10:00 am. Everyone is free to join us there, but shoot me an email, so we can watch for you, if that is your plan.

The plan for Saturday, as of today (9/3)

8:00am  Set up for stages and volunteers; crowd gathers at Freedom Plaza

Location: 1350 Pennsylvania Ave NW.  It runs between 13^th and 14^th streets.  We plan to be near the fountain, (near 14^th street side) with NC flags in the air, above the crowd, by 8:00.  There will be music and speakers while we wait for the crowd to gather.

If you are leading a group, contact TMedlin through ResistNet, with your mobile phone number included, number of people who will be with you, and I’ll send you my phone number to try to direct you to where we are that morning. But our goal is to be there early enough to stake out the spot by the fountain.

There’s no way for everyone to gather in the Plaza. If you can’t get close to the fountain we have a secondary meeting place, which would be the next block down, at Pershing Park, corner of 15^th St. and Pennsylvania. PLEASE, if you bring a NC flag, raise it high so people can find you.  We may not be able to march in a single group from NC, but don’t be dismayed. If it appears that we have 4 or 5 “regiments”, it will be something to celebrate, because it means we have a huge turnout! We will have more room at the Capitol and will surely be able to get together there. Keep the NC flags held high!

We may have so many show up, that the organizers decide to send us down secondary routes.  If I find that out before Thursday morning, I’ll post the info here.

Signs, banners, and placards are permitted as a part of a permitted activity. All supports for these items must not exceed three quarters (¾) of an inch at their largest point, have dull ends, and made entirely of wood. There can be no nails, screws, or bolt-type fastening devices protruding from the wooden supports. These items may not be used to offer any item for sale, to solicit contributions or contain any form of advertising. Any display of signs, banners, placards, and related items is strictly prohibited inside all Capitol Buildings.

METAL FLAG POLES AND BANNER HOLDERS ARE FORBIDDEN

• noisemakers (air-horns, bull-horns, whistles, etc.)
• money/room card/ID inside your clothes against your skin If you are a woman do not carry a handbag.
• cell phone, and a list the numbers of those your party in case you get separated along with the number of the hotel where you are staying.
• personal or business cards – great opportunity for networking
• pen and paper (you always seem to need it)
• A map with the route back to your hotel.
• Sunscreen, sunglasses, hat
• 2 bottles of water
• Some fruit, bananas, or apples
• A sandwich
• 2 energy bars per person
• Some nuts (not including your traveling companions!), walnuts, peanuts or almonds
• tissues (in case you get weepy or for the porta johns)
• Packages of moist towelettes
• Hand Sanitizer
• camera (still and/or video) Be prepared at all times to use video cameras, in case anyone attempts to start trouble and make us look bad, be ready to record!
• Extra batteries
• A small first aid kit
• A collapsible umbrella
• A small blanket or towel to sit on
• A light rainproof jacket or sweater or small umbrella.
• Whatever medications you may need to take during those 8 hours.
• A trash bag to totally police your area at the end of the day remember, this is our property, and we need to leave it as beautiful as we found it.
• If you are unable to sit on the ground or stand for long period of time one of those chairs that folds up, which may or may not be a problem as metal poles are not allowed.

  There will not be any vendors, food, or water for sale on the grounds as it is against Capitol policy. So it is imperative that you bring what you need.
