Thom Tillis Would Vote for Greg Brannon Except for the 2nd Amendment

I don’t endorse candidates because I feel that it is a personal responsibility for everyone to do their own due diligence when they cast their votes. It is a small price to pay when you consider the sacrifices that our ancestors made in order to give us Liberty. However, this is a no brainer.

David DeGerolamo

Obama’s Hammer

The primary goal for the GOP in 2014 is to achieve electoral control of both houses of the United States Congress.  The primary goal of the Obama administration is to thwart that ambition, because they know that Republican control of the House and Senate would make President Obama the lamest of lame ducks.  Their tactics for the next ten months, therefore, will be to use the leverage of government toward their ends, and to raise continual political distractions in the hope of making right leaning voters and legislators lose their focus on ObamaCare.

One of the ways in which the Obama administration is using the leverage of government is to loose the jackals at the IRS onto conservative advocacy groups, in particular those organized as non-profits under IRS code Section 501(c)(4).  One of the more diligent watchdogs warning the conservative public about this danger is Cleta Mitchell, a partner in the Washington, DC law firm of Foley & Lardner.  Ms. Mitchell has represented Tea Party groups in a number of legal confrontations with the IRS, and she fully explains the threat in a video.  The deadline for public comment to the IRS is February 27th, so please click the link below to view the video in order to fully appreciate the threat that this proposal poses to our liberty, then use the boilerplate text to copy and paste an e-mail to the IRS expressing your opposition.

A Letter From Our New Chief Magistrate

To the People of the North-Carolina American Republic:I thank you for entrusting me with the position of Chief Magistrate. With this position I seek to be a servant to you all. I also seek to grow and strengthen this body politic. In the time we have ahead of us, my hope and prayer is that this de jure state of ours, in this tumultuous political climate, will be able to increasingly find justice for our citizenry. As I’ve expressed in our first meeting of the year 2014, my hope is that we will each be able to contribute personally to the growth of this state, through an organized plan. My hope is that each subsequent layer of new citizens and elected representatives will strive to continue the cycle of education, growth, and discipleship, so that we can move toward an increased public awareness of our peaceful counter-revolution.

Considering the current condition of our de jure state, and a prevalent recognition of the de facto state, we cannot afford to be complacent or lax in our actions. We cannot afford to lose clarity or focus over falsehoods, misinformation, or patriot mythology. We cannot afford not to help one another or not to be a community, in fact a state, to protect each other and all citizens. We cannot afford to lose hope because of bad results. Rather, we must stay consistently obedient to the truth.

As I examine history, I’ve come to the understanding that it is just as important to personally stand for liberty, as it is to have people in place to protect it. This is true patriotism. The citizens of this state stand on a foundation of truth — a foundation which ought to be protected. And so I ask for the help of all involved in this re-established Republic. Let us each be renewed with a new focus, to understand our mission as stated by our Declaration of Re-establishment, and to re-define and execute our goals for these coming years.

I look forward to seeing my fellow citizens and officers at this next meeting on Saturday, February 1st, 2014.

Yours In Liberty,
Cliff Muncy
Chief Magistrate

Common Core Town Hall

I wanted to let everyone know about this sooner; but didn’t get confirmation until today that we have the place reserved.

I will be holding a town hall meeting in the auditorium at Jay M. Robinson High School on February 13, 6:15-7:45 PM, for the purpose of hearing from the public about Common Core.

Since the study committee that is studying Common Core is not going to allow any public comment at our Feb. 20 meeting in Raleigh, I wanted to give our local citizens a chance to speak out before then.

I’m sorry for such short notice, and for any potential schedule conflicts; but we have been trying for a few weeks to get this scheduled, and just confirmation today. I especially want to hear from parents, teachers, and administrators, and do not plan to discuss anything else at this particular town hall meeting. Please help me spread the word. Teachers, if you have concerns, and are afraid to speak openly for fear of risking your job, you can come meet me there, and we can arrange to speak privately at a later time. This is not a campaign event. It is just doing my job. I will not have any campaign materials there, and I ask that no one else bring any.

Rep. Larry Pittman

Spread the word.

This Winston-Salem City Council meeting will be held on

Monday, September 16 at 7:00 PM

We need to pack this meeting with people bearing signs and public displays that “Guns Save Lives” in order to deliver the message to the media that we aren’t going away until Winston-Salem complies with the law.

The meeting will be held in the Council Chamber (Room 230), City Hall, 101 North Main Street. If you can make it, please contact GRNC coordinator Brian Reese at:

Please see below for all other alert details.

Concealed handgun supporters must be vigilant and fight local attempts to flout improvements to concealed carry!

As you recall, when GRNC successfully fought to pass concealed carry in state and municipal parks in 2011, some city governments opposed to the changes adopted ordinances with over-broad interpretations of what constitutes a “recreational facility” where they could still ban guns. Given that HB 937, which becomes law on Oct. 1, expands concealed carry into restaurants, campuses and into more areas of parks, you can expect more local government resistance.

The most egregious offender has been Winston-Salem, which effectively continues to ban guns on greenways, lakes and entire parks. In response, GRNC has taken two actions: First, our non-profit arm, Rights Watch International, filed a lawsuit against the city. Second, we went back to the legislature and successfully narrowed the definition of “recreational facility” such that local governments could no longer ban guns on athletic fields (except during organized events), or on playgrounds, greenways and walking trails, or open fields.
